Home Team Report: The Champions Elect were in formidable form but were pushed despite the final scoreline. They are an excellent team and good company. Clive's lovely run of 70 was beautifully crafted and came at a crucial time in the match when trailing 87-69. He ran out soon after denying the home player a further point. Ryan was intent on putting up a good performance on a table that was running really well. He was his usual fluent self but came under pressure late on following consistent scoring by Alan. It seemed that he was glad to get over the line in the end. Trevor had the better of the exchanges in the early part of the last game but John's 40 break changed the course of the encounter and he displayed a fine repertoire of shots with short and long jennies all nailed. With the jukebox blaring out Irish folk songs Chertsey were quietly dispatched but put up a good show and will surely have easier assignments in their remaining matches. Well done Woking and congratulations to Clive.
