Home Team Report: Ganners got us off to a great start winning the first well when i thought that could well go their way.. so i went into my frame feeling pretty good and it showed :) missed the last red after landing really awkward on it, but didn’t mind too much as that’s the first century i’ve had with a new, never used one before Talisman Trinity tip that i put on less than 2 weeks ago that i don’t even like lol. Didn’t play quite as well against Andy but was determined to not drop off too far from what i’d done against Warren. Like me in my 2nd tho Ganners missed just one ball on his 37 break which this time made all the difference in eventually losing it on the blue. The game seemed to really turn tho, unfortunately for us, after both George and Jaf missed 2 or 3 golden chances each before Jaf took his next one really well taking all what was there leaving George 44 behind with 2 reds left. So with all the pressure suddenly now on James to get the win Jaf played a much tighter frame where the one half chance James had to put something together was only after Jaf had knocked in a pressure pot to middle from tight on the black cushion to make 29 where he unlucky screwed in-off a second red to end it. James battled well all the way down to the last ball but after a couple of tense long pot attempts on the black each it was to be to no avail. Was mixed emotions for us all that night as there’s next to no points (just 4) between 5 of us teams in the running for second.
