Home Team Report:
Another lacklustre performance from Chertsey, Connors squandered numerous chances against a below par Mears he couldn’t score after being left plumb in the balls and Mears had nothing to beat.
Elvis new it was going to be an uphill struggle from his opening shot of the evening, he joins both Harvey and Fraser in an exclusive club of missing all 15 reds off the break ! nothing much went right there after for the big fellow and Jean-Marc steadily did enough.
The saving grace of the night for Chertsey was the peoples champion, he looked in good nick crafting out a 56 break only breaking down when nudging the final red off the cushion only for it to come to rest on top of the yellow leaving no shot.
Chertsey still look heavy favourites for the drop on this showing, with 2 from 3 to go its a stiff task.
