Snooker Season 2024/5

A little self indulgence here folks - sorry.
I'm normally as you know behind the scenes, sponsorship efforts, organising tournys & or reffing - all of which I love to do btw. But yesterday my team, @SnookerWoking A - @ByfleetLeague Premier Division (for which Im normally proud manager & mascot ??) were short of players due to holidays etc, and so I got the call up. Back in the day, I used to be able to play snooker to a decent enough amateur standard, but not for some time and I was widely expected to lose. I played last and going into this frame Woking A were 3-2 up ; Thanks in large part of a great couple of frames from Woking coach Pete @shots_pb against our friends from Egham B. I played Jaf in what turned out to be quite an exciting frame.
I went 40 ish up but Jaf came back at me with a brilliant break. A black ball game ensued. We both twitched the black a few times , and then, came this shot. I thought about doubling it (The angle was quite acute) but then I thought, play the right shot. Luckily for me, the twitch came after I actually hit the ball and it went in! meaning played 1 won 1 to date in the Byfleet Prem for me and our team won 4-2. So not too many times in recent years Ive held the cue and won when it matters, but I did yesterday ??
