Home Team Report:
Oatlands complete the double over Staines with a similar pattern as there home tie. 3 - 1 behind after the opening game after Tony gained his revenge over Mark. After an excellent performance last week Tony again played very well and is hitting top form. Mark's usual high standard of potting hit a few hiccups and his game suffered as a result. Tony pressed on with several twenties and managed to reach the line with Mark 6 short of the 100. Peter continued to cue and score well right from the off and a series of breaks in the teens had Trevor chasing shadows from an early stage. Keeping up the momentum Peter ran out a comfortable winner. A scrappy start to the deciding game before Dan went from strength to strength with Kelvin struggling to find any rhythm and unable to muster many points. Dan built up a huge 80+ lead and looked like inflicting a heavy defeat on the Chairman. Perhaps he took pity because the final scores were no reflection of the mauling the home player took.
A good evening and a fair result, which along with New Haw's fine win makes the Division wide open with several teams in the running for the title.
