Away Team Report:
The opening frame between Dan and Paul began quietly with both players struggling to get into their stride but then improved with both players scoring regularly with Dan just edging it with slightly more consistent scoring. In the second frame Mark got into his stride quickly and carved a 20 odd point lead which he never relinquished, Steve played some lovely billiards but failed to make the most of his opportunities breaking down when he looked like he was going to make a substantial contribution. In the last frame, I was this weeks "lamb to the slaughter" but Mark started quite slowly by his standards and I had several opportunities to score but missed some key shots. After that Mark started to play and eventually got my white behind the spot and I feared the worst having only scored 5 at the time, he scored a beautiful 50 plus but unfortunately broke down when he looked like getting a lot more. I got a few more points before Mark ran out with a 32 and 24. Once again Mark proves to be "head and shoulders" above everyone else with his accurate and assured play. As always, we had a terrific evening with a very sociable and likeable team. Many thanks.
