Away Team Report:
As usual we had a very enjoyable and friendly evening with the boys from West Byfleet. In the opening frame Dan got off to a very slow start being nearly 30 behind before getting a point on the board but just got the better of Michael in the end. Mark continued his recent good form getting a 26 break from his first shot but Dave stuck to his guns and nearly got back into the frame. Mark played very steadily from the half way mark and won a very entertaining match. My match with Martin was a very level encounter again until half way when at last I played much better than I have recently and got to 150 with Martin being very unlucky on many occasions.
Once again a great big thank you to the lads from West Byfleet for a smashing evening and our team will be very sad if they go down as the sporting and friendly evenings we have with them, will be sorely missed.
