Home Team Report:
An excellent performance from Tony in the opening game with the aid of several good breaks around the 20 mark and two 25's. Steve never got into his stride and had a frustrating game. A seasons best effort by Tony got the home side off to a great start.
The irrepressible Mark Leonard knocked in a beautifully constructed 58 break to open his scoring after looking set for many more. Missing a pot red along the top rail with the balls in a good position. Trevor battled really well and reached a very commendable 89 points before Mark reached the winning line, and achieved a valuable point for the home side. Mark is always a pleasure to watch and once again demonstrated some lovely skills despite seemingly being in 'second gear' after his early break.
Neither Paul or Kelvin played their best and with the match result riding on the outcome both missed good scoring opportunities.
An enjoyable encounter was just shaded on this occasion by Kelvin but alas not in totally convincing fashion.
