Billiards Season 2026

Home Team Report:
First game of the season opened with a real scrappy affair between Martyn McEnroy & Dan Reeves, after a battle of safety Martyn managed to edge the 1st on the colours.
2ND frame was going the same way when Martyn played what looked like a cheeky safety shot behind the green on the side rail but unfortunately for Martyn this would prove to be his last shot as the green rolled just enough to leave Dan a pot on one of the remaining 5reds, and he never looked back by dishing up with a very good 59 clearance.
2ND match saw Kelvin (worlds unluckiest player) Jones v Mark McIntyre
1st frame went the way of Mark playing aggressive attacking snooker
2ND frame was a very different encounter with a lot of bad run for Kelvin but it ended up going down to the blue, if Kelvin pots it its all over but with some good safety play and a mixture of fortune the frame fell the way of Mark potting a good blue then potting a great pink in the middle at pace only to miss a simple black that went safeish, Kelvin had a go at frame ball black only for it to end up over the middle pocket for Mark 1-3
Last game saw a late on parade Pete McIntyre play Tony Charlton
All that can be said for this is Peter was potting balls that others wouldn't even go for, potting off the lampshades is a understatement !!
only for Tony to edge the 2ND on the pink.

overall a very enjoyable night with a great bunch of guys.!
