Home Team Report:
In the first match Carl started very brightly and raced away to a good lead, Mark played very solidly to close the gap and eventually took the lead on the colours and after a series of good pots won the frame. The second frame was over fairly quickly with Mark potting solidly and Carl being unlucky on several occasions. Mark running out the winner.
The second match was between the recently married Craig Burgess and myself, Craig took an early lead but I sort of pinched the frame with some good pots towards the end. In the next frame Craig again took an early lead but this time he would not be denied and after a series of cracking pots deservedly won the frame.
In match three Dan had a tough task against Chris but played well in the first frame and could have won the frame but unluckily broke down in a couple of promising positions, in the second Chris hardly gave Dan a shot to go at and ran out the winner.
Overall a very fair result and a lovely evening, the match finished at just after 10pm and a good hour of banter ensued, enjoyed by all. Another nice evening and many thanks to the Walton team.
